The N55 powered 335i F30 has the ZF 8HP45 and the B58 powered 340 has the 8HP50. I think the 8HP50 can handle more power/torque but I'm not positive. No issues here on the B58 engine except the 'stumble' or rough idle after initial start once the RPMs go below 1000 and how the engine acts like its a cold startup everytime the car is started

4) Install and THUMB Tighten ONLY. 5) same procedure for OIL Cooler Gasket. 6) Wait like an hour, or for it to cure, follow recommended wait times according to Ultra Grey packaging. 7) Torque all Bolts to correct Torque Values, (DO NOT Over Tighten) 8) Wait 24 Hours before starting your car.
